I moved to the UK from Australia over 6 years ago and since my early 20’s have always had an interest in nutrition, exercise and lifestyle. I have worked in the tech industry for over 10 years and knew that this was not my true passion or focus so I made the decision to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist, studying 3 years at The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.
In Australia I lived on a typical diet of meat and veg. In my early 20’s I realised I was often lethargic, took regular naps and 9+ hours of sleep was normal. I had poor concentration and memory and just did not seem to have the energy my friends had. I was a regular gym goer and relied on coffee and sugar to get me through despite the fact it sometimes made me feel worse. I soon decided that something had to change. I started reading about how diet impacts energy levels and focus and introduced a few basic changes to my food. In the following months I noticed my energy and concentration levels improved and this is where my interest and passion in nutrition truly began.
As time went on and my knowledge developed, I realised that nutrition and lifestyle played a significant part in the way we feel and our overall health.
I continue to attend educational lectures and seminars to constantly improve my knowledge and skill within health and nutrition.
I work as a Nutritional Therapist in London and South Bucks educating and supporting my clients to reach their goals.
"Nutritional Therapy focuses on investigating the cause and drivers of a condition or symptoms followed by evidence backed nutrition and lifestyle advice. I provide the tools and guidance to make long term, positive change."
